The rubber granulate bullet trap

The rubber granulate bullet trap consists of inclined standard steel plates on which a layer (80cm to 1m thick) of rubber granulate is placed. The granulate is covered with a rubber mat (also called cover mat). The main advantage of this bullet trap is to slow down the bullets which are stopped intact.

This type of bullet trap allows tactical shooting at very short distances (less than 1M).

It withstands all types of ammunition from . 22 to calibers 5.56 and 7.62, with the exception of incendiary and tracer bullets. Piercing ammunition is allowed.

  6. Replacement of  ventilation filters is less frequent and therefore operating costs are reduced.
  7. Use of all types of ammunition ; from the . 22 to the 5.56 and 7.62, including armour-piercing ammunition.
  8. Reduction of nuisances due  to the absence of impacts against steel plates
