Small size traps for shooting ranges

A small size bullet trap is a small installation designed to collect bullets fired in the shooting range under specific training sessions. Unlike the larger bullet trap used in conventional shooting ranges, smaller traps are specially designed for applications where space is limited or when specific bullet retrieval requirements are required. They often come as a complement to an existing bullet trap that does not meet the specific training situation.

Small size traps – heavy model

The heavy model small traps are removable modules that are very easy to maintain. They allow shooting at a minimum distance of 5 meters with the following ammunition: 5.56, 7.62, armored, semi-armored, and lead shot.

Armour-piercing and tracer projectiles are prohibited.

They are composed as follows:

Hardox 500 backplate 8mm thick
Rubber blocks of 500x300x200mm
A baffle protecting the base of the trap and made of 8mm-thick Hardox 500 covered with rubber tiles
Collection bins at the foot of the small bullet trap
Clamping system at the top of the small bullet trap

These small traps are movable using a pallet truck.

Small size bullet traps – steel model

The steel traps are small Venetian-type steel boxes placed on a base.
